CalPERS Open Enrollment

The 2021 CalPERS open enrollment period for adding, changing or terminating health insurance benefits will be from September 20, 2021 through October 15, 2021. Simultaneously the dental and vision plans offered by the IBT follow this same open enrollment period for effective dates of January 1, 2022. More info click here

If you are not making any changes to your current plan, you do not need to do anything.
Please take a close look at the Police and fire Plan for 2022

COVID-19

If you are being denied care from our Anthem health plan for pre-existing conditions due to impacted resources related to COVID-19.  Members should not be denied care.  If you hear of a member experiencing a similar problem, please feel free to contact us at 800-655-6397.

The Insurance and Benefits Trust (IBT) of PORAC remains fully operational and committed to providing our members with the assistance they need during the current conditions amid the COVID-19 crisis. IBT has staggered the staff to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Our schedule provides access to service from 8:00 am to 5:00  pm, Monday through Friday.  Please be assured that we are here to assist you.
