Trustee Damian Evans was appointed to the Insurance and Benefits Trust of PORAC as the PORAC Board appointee in June 2025. He brings over 26 years of experience with the Sonoma County Probation Department, most recently serving in the AB109 Unit and he is a past recipient of the Sonoma County Peace Officer of the Year award. Trustee Evans has served as President of the Sonoma County Law Enforcement Association for seven years, representing a diverse membership primarily composed of Sheriff’s Office and Probation Department employees. His leadership experience also includes involvement in association leadership at various levels for over eleven years. Since 2018, Trustee Evans has served as a PORAC Director-at-Large. He is an active member of PORAC’s Fiscal Management Committee for Region 1 and contributes as an instructor for the Association Treasurer course, helping to educate and support association leaders across the state.
