Trustee Whitney completed 30 years of service. Starting as a deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in 1986, he spent several years with Pacifica Police Department and finished his career as a Lieutenant with the Richmond Police Department. He enjoyed numerous assignments in special investigations and tactical teams throughout his career. During his tenure he served on the board for both the POA and PMA spanning several years. Trustee Whitney was appointed as the Retired Associate Member Representative in June 2025.
